What you can request

As the owner of your personal data you can ask us, free of charge, to tell you what data we hold and how we use it, to update or correct it, to send you proof of your authorization, to revoke it or to delete your data. The medical record cannot be deleted while there is a legal duty to keep it (at least 15 years from the last visit), but you can ask for it to be corrected or for a copy of it.

Copies of the medical record are requested following the medical record release procedure.

Deadlines run from the business day after receipt (Articles 14 and 15 of Colombian Law 1581 of 2012) and count Colombian business days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may go to the Colombian Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

Privacy notice. The neurologists of Broca Unidad Neurológica, as data controllers, will use this data only to verify your identity, answer your request within the legal deadlines and keep proof that it was answered, for three (3) years. It is stored at Cloudflare (United States). More information in the Personal Data Processing Policy.

Include your name, ID, what you are requesting and the email or address for our reply.
